    Been using it for a long time.. but have to go

    I have been using Astrill for more than 10 years. Never had a problem. A couple of times I used the ch... at for support and it was excellent. However this is probably going to be my last year. Reason .... price. With the virus crisis I am unemployed and can not afford it. They do not give any kind of discount and keep raising the price year after year. I am not in China so I suspend it, I do not need all those features.Espandi

    Poor service on my laptop

    I live in China and use Astrill VPN on my phone and my laptop computer, which is ChromeOS. On my phon... e, it works fine and always connects. Unfortunately, it is very unpredictable on my computer, often takes a long time to connect to whichever server I use, and often disconnects shortly after I have finally had success. I am not sure how it works on other laptops, but if you have a Chromebook then I would avoid it.Espandi

    I am AirVpn cusomers since 2015, and on my gear works remarkably well

    I am working in the biggest country in Asia since 2006. I constantly use AirVpn on my MacBook Pro sinc... e 2015, and on my iPhone - iPad. I never had an issue, of any kind, with it, and I was quite amazed to read the article above. Lately, it is very difficult to get it properly run on iPhone and iPad, but this is more the result of this country where I live in restrictions than the vpn in itself. While in Hong Kong was still working fine, but as soon as I crossed the border troubles started. I will tweak that as soon as I will be out again. In the rest of the world, I never had issues. So I do not give the 5th star just because of my at present troubles using it on my iPhone and iPad. For the rest, I will stick with it.Espandi

    Non è fatta molto bene, da evitare

    Ciao, faccio il port forwarding sui miei router da una decina di anni senza vpn. Non sono proprio un i... nesperto. Anni fa funzionava bene air ma dopo nulla. Sui miei ultimi 2 pc avuti, non ha funzionato. Non si riesce a capire il perché questa vpn non va piu'. Ho controllato firewall, antivirus, tutto, ma niente. Il problema è che sarà fatta molto male, perché qualsiasi vpn provo funziona. Evidentemente ha qualche errore di programmazione molto graveEspandi

    Final Verdict: Works in China, but Inconsistent Performance and Complicated App Astrill is an okay VPN if you already have some experience and can manually set up every setting. It has decent speeds, but it can be inconsistent at times. Its clients are optimized for all the mainstream operating systems, but the mobile apps are a little limited. Overall, it’s (mostly) secure, bypasses some geoblocks, and works in China, which is a big plus. However, it’s still an expensive VPN, and I was expecting more reliability for the price. It took me a long time to unblock all the streaming platforms, I couldn’t play any games on international servers, and some of its servers gave me connection issues. I also experienced some leaks, which is concerning. If you need a superfast VPN that reliably unblocks geo-restricted content and is suitable for beginners, I recommend trying out other options.
