NordVPN ha l'immagine di un servizio davvero impressionante. Sostiene di fornire un'enorme rete di server in tutto il mondo, connessioni veloci e affidabili e caratteristiche di sicurezza e privacy del massimo livello. Tutto questo a soli $3.39/month. Sembra fantastico, ma c'è qualche nota stonata?

Valida e veloce anche con FTTH, con un problema e una mancanza
La nota positiva emerge con il rilascio - in quest'ultimo mese - dell'ultimo protocollo VPN NordLynx: ... con connessione in fibra FTTH 1000/200 i precedenti protocolli OpenVPN non consentivano download superiori a 280Mbps, col nuovo protocollo VPN NordLynx si oltrepassano i 700dwn/179up Mbps. Quindi Ok!!!
Il problema: nel mio caso - all'avvio del S.O. si apre la finestra principale di NordVPN anche se e stato selezionato l' "avvio minimizzato". Difetto che permane anche a seguito disinstallazione profonda dell'app principale e di tutti i suoi componenti, riavvio, successiva reinstallazione e riavvio. Assistenza tecnica incapace a risolvere il problema che temo essere un bug.
La mancanza: con eMule non consente l'ID alto in alcun modo e per stessa ammissione del supporto tecnico.

BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase NordVPN, it will throttle your interned speed/connectivity by 50%, like ... it did to mine. I pay $100/month to get speeds of nearly 600mbs. With NordVPN turned on, my speeds decrease to 250mbs.
Nord’s “customer support” is useless and unprofessional, and, after nearly 3 weeks of endless “try this, try that”, they were unable to resolve the issue and blamed it on everything under the sun except their product, when it is OBVIOUS that, since I have zero speed issues with Nord turned off, and ONLY experience the issues with Nord turned on, it is NordVPN that is causing the issue.
When I asked them for a refund of my one year subscription paid in advance and in good faith, they refused, and have now decided to ignore me.
So, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Their VPN will devastate your internet speeds, their “support” is ridiculous, they are in denial, and they will not refund your money, even if their product is a failure…Espandi

2024 update - 4 years in with it
I use this VPN several times a week. I use it on my android phone, a windows laptop, a firestick and s... everal Chromecast with Google TVs. My usage includes when I'm on a public Wifi, torrenting and also streaming via Kodi. The speed and features have come a long way in 4 years. Over the years I've had to contact support a few times over app issues and feature requests. I've always received a response and/or a fix within a day.
Overall I'd say I'm pretty happy with my purchase. Again, things have improved dramatically over the years so make sure you don't make a decision based on older reviews. I'd purchase again if I needed a VPN. Hope this helps someone.Espandi

Beware of Veepn fraud!
Beware of Veepn fraud!
I purchased a 5-year subscription from these scammers, for which I paid €99.... 99 and which ran without any problems until 29.06.2023, i.e. exactly one year after I registered as a subscriber to this service!
Suddenly, all my devices can't connect to the internet anymore, the moment I activate this vpn service from the Veepn people, and if I deactivate it, the internet magically appears!
I tried to contact the vendor via their chat service (but only the bots are awake 24/7, as the ad informs before becoming a subscriber, the human part is totally absent), via email (I never got a reply in the last 10 days to the 5 emails I sent) and on Facebook Veepn tell me that they don't deal with issues related to vpn service provision, but that they will forward my request further to the department specialized in investigating connection issues and wait!
I have asked for my right to be reimbursed for the remaining 4 years of my subscription, but no one responds to my requests anymore, so whoever does as I did and trusts such charlatans, like me, may they suffer!
I have however filed a complaint with PAYPAL RESOLUTION CENTER today, let's see to what extent they will recover my money fraudulently collected by Veepn! I do not recommend at all this kind of scam practiced by Veepn, when they only offer you one year active vpn for the price of a 5 year subscription!Espandi
